L’Orchestre de Chambre Virtuosi (VCO) revient pour lancer sa nouvelle saison, sous la direction passionnée de Valentin Todorov. Composé de 18 musiciens et musiciennes venant de tous horizons — étudiants, enseignants, professionnels, nouveaux arrivants — le VCO est un véritable reflet de la communauté du Grand Moncton. Depuis sa fondation en 2012, l’orchestre s’est imposé comme un acteur incontournable de la scène musicale locale, offrant des concerts accessibles à tous, alliant rigueur musicale et plaisir partagé. Chaque performance est une célébration de la musique et de la communauté, où chaque note résonne avec enthousiasme et générosité.
Pour ce concert d’hiver, Virtuosi vous invite à vous plonger dans l’ambiance chaleureuse des fêtes. Au programme : les plus belles chansons d’hiver, conçues pour recréer la joie et la convivialité d’une famille réunie autour de la cheminée. La talentueuse Samantha Shaw-McDonald, avec sa voix veloutée et puissante, illumine la scène et transmet toute la magie de la saison. Amin Saasai, avec sa touche de jazz raffinée et originale, complète le programme et apporte une nuance surprenante et délicieuse. Virtuosi Kicks Off the 2025-2026 Season with an Enchanting Winter Concert - Home! Sweet Home!
The Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra (VCO) returns to launch its new season under the passionate direction of Valentin Todorov. Comprising 18 musicians from all walks of life — students, teachers, professionals, and newcomers — the VCO is a true reflection of the Greater Moncton community. Since its founding in 2012, the orchestra has become a cornerstone of the local music scene, offering accessible concerts that combine musical excellence with shared enjoyment. Each performance is a celebration of music and community, where every note resonates with energy and generosity.
For this winter concert, Virtuosi invites you to immerse yourself in the warmth and joy of the holiday season. The program features some of the most beautiful winter songs, designed to evoke the comfort and togetherness of family gathered around the fireplace. The talented Samantha Shaw-McDonald, with her velvety and powerful voice, lights up the stage, sharing the magic of the season with the audience. Amin Saasai adds a refined, jazz-infused touch, bringing nuance and delight to the program.
